An interview with Lara Adler about her extensive knowledge of environmental toxins (e.g. air pollutants, water pollutants, pesticides, etc.) Environmental toxins have a profound deleterious effect on human, animal and environmental health, and the regulatory process surrounding their use in the world is far from robust. If many of us take simple steps (which she outlines in the interview!) to reduce our use of environmental toxins, it will significantly reduce the global burden of these toxins and send a strong message to product manufacturers that they need to start using safe alternatives. As always, our collective actions can make a huge difference!
